Kenneth Maltby writes: Oct. 1954. The old homestead is still occupied by Maltbys as it has been for 104 years, since my grandfather acquired it in 1852. We have a custom here in the east of calling a farm that has been continually operated by members of the same family for a century or more, "A Century Farm." The descendants of Clark, my brother, make their home there."
